With over 20 years CMM experience, most of that using PC-DMIS, I am a highly skilled and diligent CMM expert.​ As a time served Hexagon Senior Applications Engineer I bring a wealth of experience; whether programming or training, I can provide industry leading knowledge and skills.

Highly adept in every area of PC-DMIS, I can offer training from beginner to advanced in all aspects of the software; proficient across the range of sensors (probing / vision / laser) and skilled in the advanced areas of the software (flow control, scanning, scripting and automation) my knowledge and experience are second-to-none.

I have a vast range of experience in programming, having either worked in or programmed parts for: aerospace, medical, motor-sport, oil & gas and general manufacturing. I have excellent knowledge of GD&T and the related standards.

I am also highly experienced in automation - either within PC-DMIS itself using scripts or stand alone applications, but also in the integration of CMMs into industrial applications and production lines using Hexagon's IO Flow Manager (IOFM) software.

TRAINING - I offer on-site training on your premises. Whilst basic training typically follows the same general structure, the training will always be tailored to the specific needs of the customer; perhaps accuracy is the key factor, or maybe programming efficiency is of prime importance. PROGRAMMING - With many years experience I have programmed parts for a wide variety of industries, both in my role as a Hexagon Applications Engineer and various full-time and contract positions. GD&T - I also offer GD&T training and consultation; either software based or via on-site classroom sessions centred around Design for Metrology. I have comprehensive knowledge of both ISO and ASME standards. GD&T training is aimed at providing a real working knowledge of the interpretation of GD&T, and is suitable for both Quality personnel and Design staff alike.

Automation - I specialise in automated CMM solutions. Whether this is software automation - using code and scripts to automate PC-DMIS - or integration of CMM technology into industrial manufacturing cells and production lines.
